Ingredients:
- 1 cup durian meat
- 6 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2/3 cup Angel Evaporada
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
- Separate the durian meat from seeds and crush using fork.
- Heat water in deep pot and dissolve sugar and salt.
- Add the durian and stir. Let boil.
- Stir to prevent overflowing. Simmer for 10 minutes or until durian is thoroughly incorporated.
- Combine Angel Evaporada and cornstarch. Stir until cornstarch is fully mixed in.
- Add cornstarch mixture in the pot, stirring as you pour. Continue stirring for about 2 minutes. Then simmer for 3 more minutes. Turn off the heat then cool.
- Pour the mixture in ice candy wrappers with the help of a funnel. Place ice candy in the freezer and use the highest cold setting to achieve a very smooth consistency.
- Serve frozen and enjoy!
